Theme: History of the Duwamish people
The Temple’s Racial Justice Conversation group will be leading and presenting the program for this year’s Lenten Retreat. The program will focus on the story of the Duwamish people – a tribe that lost its land to the development of the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area.
When: Friday afternoon March 6 to 4:00 PM Saturday March 7
Where: Camp Casey Retreat Center on Whidbey Island, about four miles south of
Coupeville and about 30 minutes from the Clinton ferry dock.
The facility opens to us at 3:00 PM Friday.
Friday dinner will begin @ 7:00 pm, followed by a one-hour introductory session.
Breakfast (8:00 AM) and lunch on Saturday are provided in the cost of registration. If you can’t make it Friday evening, please join us for Saturday. You will receive most of the benefit of the retreat even if you come only for Saturday.

Please pay what you are able. The suggested contribution for overnight participation is $75 per person.
The suggested contribution for Saturday only participation is $20.00 per person.
No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
