Below is a schedule for Building Dreams Tiny House builds over the next couple weeks. We are building in a warehouse (dry & warm – who could ask for anything more?!) We have two houses under production right now. Both are in the initial phases of framing. I have anticipated what the predicted activity for each day will be, but that will definitely be subject to who shows up and what progress we make on the previous day. Be sure to check in with me by phone, text, or email if you are hoping to do a specific activity. I can’t guarantee we will stay on this schedule – as we may be faster or we may be slower. Regardless, there will always be something to do on the days listed below. If you are interested in participating in these builds, on these date, let me know.
The building site is at 645 So. Massachusetts – directly across the street (south) from the metro bus barn parking lot. It is a long, one story warehouse with multiple doors on the street. Enter at the single man-door – mid building.

Work will continue beyond this date as we will be starting a third one at this site soon, depending on how many volunteers we get. That one will be the 12th and final one of my goal for 2018. I’m anticipating we will be done with the final one by the 1st of November. What lies ahead for Building Dreams remains to be seen. Stay tuned.

Seattle’s homeless? Visible to us all, almost everywhere we go, it is evident to us all that we have a serious social problem. We see or hear of the homeless, we care, but ask ourselves “What can I possibly do about this?”
Mother Teresa said “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” Building Dreams is approaching the homeless issue in that way – sheltering one homeless person at a time.
